Pierre du Sud is a very interesting cuvée on a specific terroir, very stony compare to the other soils of the domaine. It gives that expression to the grenache (dry stone) that enters the composition of this cuvée ; while the sauvignon is usually very aromatic, it is the rolle ( vermentino) that brings the aromatics to this one, lots of pear notes, white flowers even white peach on the palate . It is very fresh and crisp, the kind of wine you want for the summer !
