The entry level of the Syrah wine range from Montez . A very good, juicy, fruity wine , but with some character due to the porportion of full bunch used during vinification giving this wine some structure and tannins which will be grately appreciated when paring with a grilled piece of meat . The 15 months in “demi muids” brings some roundness to it” and a nice touch on the palate .

Cépage : 100% Syrah

Type de Sol : Sols légers de granite et de galets roulés, parcelle en fermage, rive gauche du Rhône. 

AOP/AOC/IGP : IGP Collines Rhodaniennes

Vinification :

 Eraflage à 60%, grappe entière à 40%, puis une macération pré-fermentaire d’une semaine, et macération de 3 semaines par la vieille technique du chapeau immergé. Une fermentation longue et progressive sans maîtrise des températures et enfin un pressurage pneumatique à basse pression pour ne pas éclater les pépins.

Élevage : 15 mois en demi-muids de chêne français.
