Domaine du Monteillez, Le Blanc d’en Face, S.Montez, 2016

    Fred’s Tasting Note :

This wine is a rarity ! Planted on a very small plot on the left bank of the domain, with 30% of Cugnette, a very old Roman grape variety ( much more known as Jacquere in Savoie) , and viognier of course, the king grape of the area. The nose reveals vine peach aromas, and apricot too . The palate shows some mineral touch, but very fruity and peachy again, with slight grassy notes. Quite low on alcohol with only 12.5° for the area .

FD Rated :  89/100
