I dicovered this cuvée after being initiated to Montez as many of us by La cuvée du Papy, and i have to say i quite enjoyed it . Very dark deep ruby colour, with intense flavours of dark fruits, spices , and starting on slight notes of evolution now, it is a great way do discover an aspect of the syrah on this kind of soil . Powerfull, with rounded tanins (by the 18months ageing in wood) makes it a very well balanced wine . Any game meat would be great of a pairing .

Cépage : 100% Syrah

Type de Sol :  Deux terroirs  : Sols légers de granite, sur coteaux arides et terrasses de galets roulets du Rhone

AOP/AOC/IGP : IGP Collines Rhodaniennes

Vinification : Eraflé à 100 % les raisins suivent ensuite une macération à froid pendant 1 semaine. Puis des pigeage et remontage des jus 1 fois par jours pendant 3 semaines, et enfin une fermentation longue et progressive.

Enfin un élevage long de 18 mois en fûts de chêne français.
